Job Summary and Responsibilities SUMMARY The Program Director - OSP will be responsible for all aspects of an Outside Plant program, or programs, including project resources, facilities, material management, engineering, construction, program financials, and aligning with customer expectations.The wide variety of tasks a Program Director may fulfill include development of Project plans, individual and team task management, customer reporting and communications, account management; supervision of employees and external consultants; handling daily staff assignments; planning and administering budgets; controlling income and revenue; and tracking program expenses. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES may include the following; other duties may be assigned:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Manages subordinate managers; is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of these units. Carries out Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Qualifications QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; and/or a minimum of 5 years of OSP Project Management related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. This person should be a seasoned manager who has overseen end to end programs to expected execution and financial profitability. The individual should be well versed in project management, reviewing and managing profit and cost, and able to interface and maintain healthy customer relationships.
