The Pump Technician role is responsible for the safe delivery of oilfield supplies and down hole pumps. Must have a valid driver's license and know the products involved.

Job Overview

The Pump Technician role is responsible for the safe delivery of oilfield supplies and down hole pumps. Must have a valid driver's license and know the products involved.

Responsibilities

* Deliver oilfield supplies and/or down hole pumps.
* Pick up and deliver product in safe and professional manner.
* Maintain a current driver license and insurability.
* Ability to learn the products.
* Perform other duties including stocking, pulling orders, housekeeping and assist with periodic cycle counts.
* Understand customer service principles and handle customer related problems and questions.
* Learn/perform sucker rod pump breakdown and assemblies and Tubing anchor tear down and assembly's.
* Assist with periodic cycle counts.

* Display good communications skills for working with customers and coworkers.
* Understand customer service principles and handle customer related problems and questions.
* Must be able to help optimize wells with the understanding of rod pumped wells, including rod designs and down hole pump card interpretations.
* Must have good communications skills for working with customers to help with product needs. This includes being able to make correct recommendations for pumps and other products to optimize rod pumped well needs.
* Must have good computer skills, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

* Product Knowledge with minimum 5 years' experience with reciprocating rod pump including the assembly methods and repair methods of these style pumps. (Equivalent knowledge of sucker rod pumps considered.)

Required Qualifications

* High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
* Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
* Ability to pull a trailer in safe manner, non-DOT.
* Must be available on weekend on call rotation.
* Able to meet insurability standards to drive a company vehicle.

This position is not available for relocation assistance.
