The RoleAspenTech is currently looking for a self-driven individual as a Sales Operations Analyst focusing on data analysis, reporting, and CRM enhancements for the Global Sales Operations group. This position is based in Houston, TX and will report to the Director, Regional Sales Operations.

As a member of the CRM team within Global Sales Operations, this individual will have opportunities to engage with users across the sales organization as they work to improve the platform and assist peers and management with reporting and analysis. This includes coordination with back office and customer-facing functions including Sales Enablement, Regional Sales Operations, Order Operations, Professional Services, Customer Success, Marketing. Your Impact
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as required in support of Sales Organization.
  • Take the initiative to identify problems and opportunities involving systems, processes, and data, along with proposing solutions.
  • Help drive initiatives to gather and report sales metrics using dashboards & reports in Lightning.
  • Share responsibility with other members of the organization for CRM Data integrity of Accounts, Opportunities, Contacts, Leads, and custom Salesforce (SFDC) objects.
  • Participate in improvements to the SFDC platform, collecting and organizing user requests, creating test scripts, and participating in User Acceptance Testing.
  • Develop the ability to act as first Point of Contact for questions about sales operations process or the CRM system by Field Operations teams.
  • Display commitment to achieving team goals by exhibiting adaptability and reliability.
  • Actively participate in meetings, identifying action items, and tracking outcomes.
What You'll Need
  • 2 - 5 years of experience within an analysis role in Sales Operations or Product Management.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results and adapt to changing business requirements.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, with understanding of relational databases.
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn.
  • Experience with a Sales CRM system a plus, preferably Salesforce.
  • Organizational skills and change management.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are imperative.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
