Chemistry Associate IV - Ionic Liquids Synthesis and Characterization Job ID JR101723 Date posted 03/17/2025 The Chemistry AssociateIV (3-Year Term)will be responsible for synthesis and characterization of ionic liquids (ILs) for studies of their physical chemistry and reaction mechanisms. They will measure the viscosities, conductivities, thermal phase behavior and water content of the ILs and prepare samples for kinetics measurements. Brookhaven Laboratory is committed to providing fair, equitable and competitive compensation. The full salary range for this position is $68,000 - $90,000 / year. Salary offers will be commensurate with the final candidate's qualification, education and experience and considered with the internal peer group.
