Position Summary: The Retirement Plan Services Administrative Assistant 2 is responsible for daily administrative support duties, which include communication with plan sponsors, quality control of documentation, and assisting all areas of the department with research and communication.

Essential Functions:



  • Coordinate and distribute incoming department mail as well as prepare outgoing correspondence.
  • Prepare and monitor daily check deposits.
  • Support one day a week coverage with Wealth Management receptionist to assist with incoming customers.
  • Prepare mailings utilizing certified mail and overnight services for Client Services.
  • Provide a high standard of customer service to plan sponsors when processing plan sponsor web activations and trouble shooting.
  • Work with RPS Client Services team to facilitate returned paperwork/checks/quarterly statements/1099r, inquiring within Lexis Nexis system.
  • Print and assemble Retirement material and participate mailings.
  • Process with address changes in Relius/Maui for participants and return mail.
  • Review and perform quality control for IRA account changes and/or updates.
  • Cross-trained with Investment Relationship Coordinator with opening new IRA accounts.
  • Preform quality research on participant information with the archiving system.
  • Prepare monthly trust committee report.
  • Coordinate with other Admin Assistant to provide back-up to ensure daily functions are handled.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.


Qualifications:



  • Minimum of one year retirement plan knowledge preferred.
  • Prior Banking or Financial services experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and other bank software.
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply new skills.

Working Environment:

Indoor work not exposed to outdoor elements or hazards.
