Description Acara Solutions is seeking a Digital Design Engineer to join our client on a Full Time Direct Hire opportunity located in Prescott AZ We are seeking an experienced Digital Design Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing and improving high-tech products used in complex systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing circuits, microprocessors, and power supplies for innovative technologies, ensuring seamless integration with communication technologies such as USB, PCIe, and I2C. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop digital circuits for cutting-edge systems, ensuring reliability and performance. Use diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, analyzers, and other bench equipment to test and validate designs. Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop and validate circuit boards, ensuring they meet design specifications and production requirements. Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices in digital circuit design and system development. Apply industry standards and regulatory requirements to ensure that products meet necessary certifications. Participate in the transition of new designs into the production phase, ensuring smooth implementation and quality control. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: BSEE 3 yrs minimum experience working with Vivado for FPGA and CPLD design Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Experience designing avionics products that require government certification (FAA, FCC, etc.). Proficiency with CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout. Knowledge and experience in transitioning products from design to manufacturing. Strong background in working with communication protocols such as USB, PCIe, and I2C.
