Overview

Serves the company by management and administration of the Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System Program (CASS) in compliance with the Company policy, procedures and FAA regulations. This position is responsible for assisting in the regular review and analysis of aircraft technical data inbsupport of the Companies Continuing Analysis and Surveillance Program, ETOPS, and Reliability Program. Provide data collection and analysis for various fleet technical issues.



Responsibilities

    Collect and organize data from various sources for use in the Reliability and CASS program.
  • Analyze statistical data and develop monthly reports as well as maintain meeting minutes as required for the Reliability and CASS program.
  • Provide review and recommendation toward continuous develop of the Quality Assurance and Reliability Programs to assure performance and effectiveness are properly monitored and measured against procedures, technical standards, CFRs or other approved data.
  • Work in close harmony with the Director, Quality Control & CASS & CASS program Manager in assuring their respective programs support the success of CASS.
  • Assist in control of the output of the Quality Assurance and Reliability Programs to assure continued compliance.
  • Issue reliability audit reports to the appropriate department/vendor to identify the noted deficiencies.

  • Gather statistical data and develop monthly reports as well as maintain meeting minutes as required for the CASS program.
  • Assist in the continuously review the CASS program and recommend changes to improve and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the program.
  • Provides an auditing oversight of the functions within the Technical Operation Organization, which shall include the review of maintenance records, manuals, training, qualification, operational tasks, safety procedures, ground support operations, equipment and housekeeping.
  • Responsible to review audits of vendors that provide maintenance, repair and overhaul services to the Company in accordance with the external audit program. Recommends the use or avoidance of vendors based upon audit results
  • May be required to accomplish investigations as needed.
  • Assist the Director, Quality Assurance & CASS in CASS board Member tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director, Quality Assurance & CASS and CASS Program Manager.


Qualifications

  • Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings preferred
  • 5+ Years of Aviation experience in CASS and or reliability.
  • Extensive CASS experience required.
  • A suitable four-year college degree with an emphasis in Business or Aviation maybe substituted for experience or FAA certificate.
  • Must have and be able to demonstrate solid writing and communication skills and must be proficient with computer skills to include being proficient with Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel.
  • Must be able to obtain a valid passport as extensive domestic and international travel maybe required.

  • Interpersonal skills, with the ability to professionally represent the company to internal and external entities.
  • Ability to handle multiple duties and priorities daily.
  • Written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write and present technical reports.
  • Must be proficient with computer skills to include being proficient with Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel.
  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills; high level of attention to detail; outstanding organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as to lead the department team members; self-motivated; 'Can do' attitude.

Salary Range: $70,500-95,500
