Description
Position Summary: The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling and brand aligned designs for a variety of platforms and channels, including Direct Marketing, Wholesale, and Retail. Their expertise in visual storytelling is essential in engaging audiences, enhancing brand recognition, maintaining consistency, and contributing to the overall success of the brand. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)
- Design evergreen and launch-specific brand touchpoints, including emails, digital paid ads, print collateral, organic social, packaging, and more.
- Strong focus on organic social media and paid digital advertising, specifically in executing a constant stream of brand and remixed influencer content.
- Responsible for maintaining the consistency of assets and the representation of the brand or creative concept across all channels.
- Collaborates with peers and freelancers to ensure clarity on goals and deliverables, ensuring projects are well-executed, on-brand, on brief, and delivered on time.
- Participate in creative concepting and pull references for projects.
- Possesses the ability to multi-task and manage multiple timelines efficiently.
- Communicating timelines, specifications, and needs effectively to ensure timely delivery of assets.
- Balances the ability to work independently and with cross functional teams collaboratively.
- Ability to edit photos and videos for use across all channels.
- Must be able to effectively give and receive creative rationale and feedback.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree or related Graphic Arts degree with 1-4 years' experience with direct-to-consumer ecommerce brand platform or agency setting
- Relevant portfolio of work demonstrating proven success in the crowded retail market
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Basic understanding of responsive, UX/UI design
- Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficient in Microsoft including the ability to create and use spreadsheets, graphics and reports
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly creative with a sharp eye for detail
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work and maintain an efficient workflow in a fast paced environment
- Motion experience a plus, but not required
- Illustration skills a plus, but not required
- Ability to analyze and report on the effectiveness of work to achieve marketing goals.
Equipment Used: Computer, printer, telephone, photocopier, and scanner. Computer Software: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and WordPress. Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, use fingers to grasp, handle, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists.
- Exerts up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Close mental and visual attention required to perform work dealing primarily with preparing, analyzing, and interpreting data and figures, using a computer terminal, and/or extensive reading.
