Description: NSI requires a Senior Logistics Specialist to support PMA-265 Growler Systems Integration (GSI) Team to develop and integrate product support requirements for the Global Lightning (GL) communication set being incorporated into the F/A-18 Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler aircraft. Provide training product support development and optimization for Fiber Option systems installed in F/A-18 and EA-18G type/model/series aircraft. Closely collaborate with APMLs, Deputy APMLs, PSMs and LEMs. Perform various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and information systems. Develop, sustain and optimize logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control; LCC analysis and control; weapons systems HW and SW standardization and compatibility; IPS/ R&M program T&E planning and execution; and, IPS/R&M program management analysis. Collect, compile, analyzes, investigate, research, and apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information. Develop, modify, prepares, and validate documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.

Location: Lexington Park, MD

Education: MS or MA Degree in Logistics Management, Business, Engineering, or Management.

Experience: At least 10 years' FTE experience in operational logistics or maintenance engineering. Four (4) years' experience directing the activities of operational technicians in the performance of comprehensive analysis across the spectrum of IPS elements during a job assignment in an Operational Command or supporting and Operational Command. Four (4) years of operational (fleet support) logistics support experience. Two (2) years of specific experience in operational logistics planning and management to demonstrate the ability to perform independent work to provide logistics planning, scheduling, execution and support system effectiveness analysis, studies and evaluations in support of DoD weapons systems and equipment.

Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
