Maintenance Scheduler - GSA Facilities - Lakewood, Colorado

Summary:

The Maintenance Scheduler (CMMS) is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This role ensures that maintenance work is efficiently scheduled, resources are optimized, and downtime is minimized, improving overall asset reliability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize CMMS software to create, track, and manage work orders.
  • Schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks based on asset requirements and work priorities.
  • Assign tasks to maintenance technicians, contractors, or vendors based on skill sets and availability.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are documented accurately within the CMMS.


Qualifications:

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance scheduling, planning, or coordination.
  • Hands-on experience with CMMS software (e.g., Maximo, SAP PM, eMaint, MPulse, or similar).
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance (PM) programs and asset management.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, facility, or building maintenance environments is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.


Communication:

Must be able to communicate effectively with customer(s), direct and indirect staff, supervisors and office personnel.

Pay Rate: $21.25

A background check and drug screen will be conducted for this position.
