A Day In The Life Under the leadership of the GSFS Product Manager, the Product Analyst will provide analysis and recommendations in the development of product contract language, pricing support, ad hoc reporting and special assignments. The Analyst is responsible for producing analysis and reporting that is requested by internal GSFS customers, agents and dealers. The Analyst will develop their knowledge of administration system functionality, data mining, consumer contract language, financial modeling and general business practices in this critical role.
As a Product Analyst I you will:
- Manage the administration of F&I products in accordance with product development specifications for new and refreshed F&I offerings
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, to gather product specifications and details and work with the Product Manager and other stakeholders to bring new and revised products to completion
- Actively participate in the analysis of consumer facing product language and make recommendations
- Extract and organize raw product line data from the GSFS information warehouse * Analyze premium and loss data for pricing purposes to identify product line trends and anomalies using Excel and other analytical software * Summarize data output / results and report key findings to Product Line Mangers and Leadership
- Effectively manage assigned projects to take on special assignments requiring a high level of attention with limited supervision, which includes but is not limited to * written summaries to Leadership of business opportunities * creation of supporting exhibits in Excel and * presentations in PowerPoint
- Assist in the preparation of management reports and pricing analysis to Leadership, Product Managers, Finance and other internal GSFS clients; use influence with peers when seeking information or assistance
- May participate in or support project and process improvements as part of a team
- Collaborates with co-workers and GSFS/GSA leaders to leverage knowledge and experience to improve processes, procedures and the work environment in order to eliminate inefficient and ineffective processes and procedures.
What We Need From You
- Bachelor's Degree Pref
- 1-3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required
- Ability to apply common sense.
- Analytical skills and problem solving.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team *
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Strategic minded with strong analytical skills.
- Strong time-management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects.

Physical Requirements The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the work day and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
