PAY: $138,000 - $174,000

JOB SUMMARY: MCSG Technologies is seeking an Operations Planner - Space Electronic Warfare (SEW) to support the 392 Combat Training Squadron's (392 CTS) United States Space Force (USSF) Exercise Team at Schriever SFB, CO. This team supports the 392 CTS-led USSF exercises (e.g., SPACE FLAG (SF), POLARIS HAMMER (PH), Flashpoint, and SKIES series). These exercises are designed to prepare Guardians to execute operations in a realistic contested, degraded, and operationally limited (CDO) environment against a thinking and determined adversary. The Operations Planner (SEW) will coordinate and collaborate with the 392 CTS USSF Exercise planners and Delta 3 stakeholders to design, develop, plan, execute, and assess space electronic warfare training as part of 392 CTS-led USSF exercises, Flashpoint events, and mission-focused events. Location: This position is at Schriever SFB, CO, and requires on-site support.

PRIMARY DUTIES:



  • Coordinates with joint SEW units (Delta 3, etc.) and associated Command and Control (C2) elements to develop and plan SEW involvement in SPACE FLAG (SF), POLARIS HAMMER (PH) and BLACK SKIES (BLKS) events.
  • Integrates and synchronizes SEW training objectives during the exercise development and planning.
  • Assists team to understand SEW-specific exercise requirements across all service SEW capabilities.
  • Provides support to SF, PH, and SKIES planning conferences, working groups, training events, etc.
  • Participates in the Exercise Control Group (ECG) and White Cell, representing external SEW, or other organizations, to provide realistic exercise inputs to facilitate SEW training objectives.
  • Provides recommendations, monitors, and tracks SEW resources required (personnel, funding, and equipment) to support each event.
  • Coordinates with SEW training organizations to identify synergies between USSF exercise objectives and SEW advanced training academics.
  • Provides inputs to the development of SEW modeling and simulation (M&S) capability.
  • Captures, analyzes, and reports observations and lessons learned identified during the design, planning, and execution of USSF exercises and AT events.
  • Supports hot wash, debriefs, and After Action Report development after each exercise .
  • Prepares event-related documents (i.e., trip reports, exercise planning/execution products, after-action reports, lessons learned, meeting minutes) within established time frames.
  • Works with SEW and USSF teams across all functional areas to coordinate policy; tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs); operational strategy; and doctrine development.
  • Integrates current and in-development SE systems, tools, and M&S capabilities into exercise development and planning.
  • Carries out other tasks as directed by contract leadership required to ensure 392 CTS mission success.



REQUIREMENTS:



  • 10-15years of space experience.
  • Experience working with SEW missions, and an understanding of their capabilities and limitations, the ways and means to conduct SEW, and the SEW C2 constructs.
  • This position requires limited travel (less than 4-5 weeks/year).



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 10 years of experience working within the SEW community.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of Space Electronic Warfare experience. 10-15 years of space experience.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Top Secret/SCI with Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility.
