Here's what you'd do: The Power Engineer IV formulates design concepts for engineering problems. They also lead technical projects, monitor project scope, and respond to engineering concerns. Well-versed in DC/DC converter topologies and able to perform worst-case circuit and thermal analyses and evaluate new technologies for power electronics Respond to engineering and maintenance concerns Provide design engineering support on emergent issues Formulate design concepts for engineering problems and sets the scope and parameters of projects Participate in project planning and implementation Monitor project scope and confirm changes using project management processes Support the development and maintenance of processes, procedures, and work instructions Initiate and lead technical studies and projects Accurately record and store test measurements, data, and results Here's what you'll get: Pay: $123,745 - $175,000 / year. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) Minimum of 10 years experience in the design and development of switch mode power supplies and magnetic components, transformers, and inductors. Minimum of 10 years experience in SPICE Software (Advanced) Minimum of 10 years experience in CAD Software (Intermediate) Minimum of 10 years experience in MathWorks MATLAB (Intermediate) Minimum of 10 years experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced) Minimum of 10 years experience in Integration Testing Minimum of 10 years experience in Hardware Testing Methods Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Master's Degree Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
