ResponsibilitiesOwn the supply chain and sourcing activities for Microsoft Devices Chipset including negotiating commercial agreements, negotiating cost, optimizing the collaboration between the teams and developing long term strategy to grow a robust partnership.Engage with cross-functional leadership including architecture, engineering, product management, and business teams to determine best design solution and supply base to deliver that solution at optimal supply chain and cost.Manage contracting activities with Legal and ensure contracts reflect appropriate business terms, IP protection, etc.Cost and operations management: Build multi-sourcing strategies to mitigate risk and drive appropriate competition.Analyze the overall supply chain to identify risk and drive resolution to systemic issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead-times.Provide thought leadership and manage strategic initiatives with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support Microsoft Devices objectives and strategies.Manages the supplier relationship, leading and coordinating efforts to drive supplier performance improvement across all areas of the business. | |
