ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Observe all casino operations via surveillance cameras.
  2. Observe all cash counting in soft/hard count functions; all cash transactions in the Cage and on gaming tables.
  3. Evaluate dealer and floor person procedures.
  4. Observe players in the casino; tape any suspected cheating activities.
  5. Review gaming tapes in cases of player/dealer disputes.
  6. Complete daily activity reports; note any pertinent facts (i.e.: large cash outs, fills, credits, etc.) any/or incidents.
  7. Monitor recording equipment; change tapes, check equipment operation and time/date generators.
  8. Notify appropriate person when infractions, cheating, etc. are observed.
  9. Answer the telephone during peak activity periods.
  10. Comply with all Internal Controls, Company, departmental and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  11. Employee may be required to perform duties outside of their normal job description, where, in the company's judgement, it is necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity or improved guest services.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Experience in gaming and Gaming Card required.

Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from accredited two-year college or technical school; or six months to on year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Employee License.
