Job Summary:
The Human Resources Manager is a key member of the Ingersoll Rand HR plant team assisting in roll out of company programs, processes, policies, guidelines and engagement activities to ensure the Plant is a great place to work. This position assists the Plant Leadership Team with recruitment, employee onboarding, training, engagement, compliance and recordkeeping, benefit administration and other people operation functions. We expect this individual to demonstrate unquestionable honesty and integrity with a strong commitment to confidentiality. This individual should be kind and approachable and be comfortable going to/and spending time with employees within the plant
Responsibilities:
* Partners with RPO with recruiting process including posting, temporary vendor management, interviewing, pre-employment testing, offer creation, new hire onboarding, Safety and HR orientation and HRIS entry.
* Leads the implementation, administration, communication and employee education of company policies and procedures.
* Facilitates benefit administration: annual enrollment communications and support, coordination of biometrics activities, new hire enrollment training and coordination of EHS activities and events to build a safe and healthy work environment.
* Develop and execute internal training programs.
* Develop and execute HR plans, processes, and programs aligned with business objectives, including organizational design, succession planning, talent management/acquisition, goal alignment, employee engagement and communications
* Delivering a great internal customer experience for all levels of the plant by seeking to understand, listening and responding in a speedy and friendly manner.
* Works collaboratively with HR leader to ensure legal compliance, assisting or conducting investigations and corrective actions as needed.
* Effectively investigates and resolves complex employee relations issues
* HRIS maintenance and management of employee records.
* Payroll timekeeping system administration and management
* Serve as expert in change management processes to positively impact organizational effectiveness; provides guidance and coaching to leadership team on change management;
* Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree Human Resources
* Manufacturing experience required
* Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
* Experience with payroll
* Excellent verbal, written, listening and interpersonal communication skills
* Proven organizational, multi-tasking, prioritization and follow-up skills
* Ability to work accurately with figures and to perform detailed work
* Must demonstrate ability to exercise judgment, initiative, use discretion and tact
* Comfort with technology and strong ability to learn new systems
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferences:
* 5+ years of human resources or recruiting experience - preferred
* HRCI or SHRM certification preferred
Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is $100,000 - $140,000, excluding incentive opportunities. The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location. Hired applicant will be eligible to receive (discretionary/nondiscretionary) annual bonuses and incentive compensation.
