Customer Service Location: Lake County, IL, 60085 (Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days remote) Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension), Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of customer service experience, strong multitasking skills, and a passion for providing excellent service. This role involves order entry in SAP, email management via COMET, and handling inbound/outbound customer inquiries. The position requires proficiency in multiple computer applications and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities: Order Processing: Enter customer orders into SAP (majority of the role). Email Management: Respond to inquiries and triage emails using the COMET system (40% of the role). Order Fulfillment: Process no-charge orders (60% of the role). Customer Support: Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing accurate information using a database. Technical Proficiency: Work with various computer applications and operating environments (Windows, DOS, Mainframe). Qualifications: Experience: 3-5 years in customer service. Education: High school diploma or GED. Certifications: None required. Key Skills: SAP experience (highly preferred but training available). Strong customer service mindset and communication skills. Multitasking and time management abilities. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Lotus Notes, Excel, and MS Word. Ability to work with multiple operating environments (Windows, DOS, Mainframe). Demonstrates patience, tact, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
