Data Entry Operator II
Overview:
Daily management of on-site administrative services for Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group One (EODGRU ONE) and its seven ECH V subordinate units. The Data Entry Operator II position at EODGRU ONE is responsible for the daily management of on-site administrative and financial services, supporting EODGRU ONE and its seven ECH V subordinate units. The role ensures accurate and efficient data entry in various financial management systems, facilitates funding requests, and provides essential reporting to enhance operational efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage on-site administrative services for EODGRU ONE and its seven ECH V subordinate units.
- Provide daily operational accounting support using automated financial management systems, including:
- Command Financial Management System (CFMS)
- Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- Unit Budget Data Call Tool (UBDC)
- Process approximately 25 funding requests per week from EODGRU ONE and its subordinate units.
- Prepare and route funding documents (including NC2275, NC2276, and NC2276a) using automated financial systems for approval.
- Retrieve funding request information daily from the Comptroller Resource Tool (CRT) and transfer/upload data into CFMS and ERP.
- Ensure all Key Supporting Documents (KSDs) are accurately uploaded to each CFMS entry.
- Investigate and resolve system interface issues and other discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Identify and obtain any missing supporting documentation from EODGRU ONE and its subordinate units to ensure complete and accurate funding document preparation.
- Provide a weekly workload report to EODGRU ONE N4, detailing: The number of CFMS entries started, completed, and pending. Challenges encountered, such as missing documents or incomplete information
Education and/or Experience:
- Proficiency in financial management systems such as CFMS, ERP, and other Navy financial tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document processing.
- Ability to manage multiple funding requests simultaneously while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with EODGRU ONE and its subordinate units.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
