In this role, the Full Stack Developer will play a pivotal part in the development and integration of cutting-edge solutions within the Client Central team, focusing on microservices, cloud-native applications, and robust API design. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and deploy scalable applications on the AWS platform, while ensuring seamless integration with messaging systems and databases. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment, where you'll contribute to impactful projects while continually enhancing your technical expertise.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and Develop Solutions:
    • Design and Implement Microservices: Architect and develop microservices-based solutions that align with business requirements, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance across various services.
    • Develop Cloud-Native Applications on AWS: Build and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS services, ensuring optimal resource utilization, cost efficiency, and seamless integration with AWS tools like EKS and MSK.
    • Create and Integrate APIs: Develop and maintain REST JSON and GraphQL APIs using Spring Boot and Spring Integration, ensuring smooth communication between microservices and third-party applications.
    • Integrate Messaging Systems: Design and implement messaging solutions using AWS MSK, ensuring reliable and scalable communication between distributed services.
    • Implement CI/CD and DevOps Practices: Leverage CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, using tools like GitHub, Terraform, and AWS EKS, to automate deployments, manage infrastructure as code, and improve the development lifecycle efficiency.
    • SQL Proficient
  • Platform Management and Optimization:
    • Leverage GitHub & CI/CD using Terraform
    • Identify root cause analysis leading to solutions that correct defects or performance problems.
    • Establish and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and cost-control procedures to ensure optimal platform performance.
  • Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
    • Work closely with Business Analysts, Architects, Engineers, DBAs, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and build flexible, scalable solutions.
    • Participate in quarterly on-site planning and strategy sessions.
  • Support and Maintenance:
    • Participate in Level 3 on-call support rotation.
    • Ensure systems are highly available, resilient, and designed to scale efficiently.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years' experience as a developer with the following qualifications.
    • Experience in Microservices based architecture solutions
    • Experience in developing Cloud Native Application development in AWS platform
    • Mulesoft iPaaS development experience to build integrations
    • REST JSON / GraphQL API development using Spring Boot, Spring Integration & Tomcat
    • AWS EKS experience and deployment knowledge
    • Hands on experience in Node JS & React JS
    • Experience in Messaging systems integration AWS MSK
    • SQL, AWS Postgresql
    • GitHub & CI/CD using Terraform
    • Strong analytical, problem solving, debugging skills.
    • Demonstrable experience of being able to work to very tight timelines on multiple detailed activities simultaneously
    • Ability to work in team in diverse environment
    • Good verbal and written communication and organizational skills
    • AWS or Industry Certification credentials and Life Insurance domain knowledge are additional plus.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field preferred but not required.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:$102,500-$175,000

Overtime eligible:Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes

Sales bonus eligible:No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
