What to Expect in our Co-op Program:

Expand your technical and professional skills in a real-world setting. Omron co-ops are given meaningful work, support, and mentorship from experienced managers and key business leaders. Omron offers a chance to work in multiple areas of our Automation business; you will have the chance to work with our Manufacturing Team, Technical Sales, Product Marketing, Application Engineers, and many others.

Hours. Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Co-Op Program:

Gain relevant on-the-job experience in our rotational Co-op Program.

1. Manufacturing: Co-ops will have hands-on, practical experience - observing various roles within manufacturing.
2. Engineering Services: Co-ops will be able to leverage previous exposure to OMRON products and see them in real-world applications. Providing a comprehensive understanding of the product lifecycle from production to end-use.
3. Marketing: Co-Ops work within the Marketing team to gain an understanding of concepts such as product marketing, industry trends, and marketing communications.
4. Sales Engineer: Co-ops work one-on-one with our Sales and Application Engineers to better understand our customers' needs.

You balance planning with actions. You make new connections and build relationships in other areas and teams. You solicit both input and discussion. You build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations. You dig for root causes of a problem and look for patterns. You learn to streamline processes and cut out redundancy.

Required Education, Skills, & Experience:

• Undergraduate Student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, and Computer Engineering from Clemson University.
• Completion of at least 3 semesters of coursework
• Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
• Ability to work independently, learn new tasks/handle multiple tasks, solve problems, meet deadlines, and show strong self-motivation and initiative.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• To conform with U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorization from the U.S. Government.
