Description
Seeking a System Administrator to join our NAVY SUBMEPP program team. SUBMEPP supports the Navy's maintenance efforts by providing scheduling and requirements for planned maintenance periods. The System Administrators on the contract are responsible for making sure the servers and applications that make this possible are kept optimized and running. Systems Administration: The contractor shall provide management, configuration, administration, implementation, and optimization of all Server infrastructure throughout the SUBMEPP enclave as well as the ServiceNow platform. The contractor shall manage technologies and processes to sustain and or improve the performance of the server and host infrastructure throughout the enclave and ServiceNow platform. The -contractor shall configure the server and host infrastructure in conjunction with DISA STIG, DoD policies, and Vendor best practices. At minimum the contractor shall be required to perform the following tasks in support of the task: Create and manage use accounts, roles, and permissions within the ServiceNow instance. Ensure proper access controls, including granting and revoking access. Monitor user activity and address any security concerns promptly. Regularly perform health checks and maintenance tasks on the ServiceNow instance. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize configurations based on customer needs. Apply patches, upgrades, and updates to keep the instance secure and efficient. Configure modules, tables, and fields to align with business processes. Develop and maintain scripts, business rules, and scheduled jobs in coordination with the Development team. Ensure data consistency and accuracy across integrated platforms and systems. Manage changes to the ServiceNow configuration and update sets, adhering to change control processes. Coordinate with the Business Analyst and Development teams on all Citizen Development processes and frameworks. Coordinate with Development teams on customizations and enhancements aligning with business requirements. Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures. Provide support, monitor, and take corrective action as necessary for the server infrastructure and ServiceNow platform.
