Laborer
The laborer is a construction worker responsible for assisting in the asphalt and paving process by performing manual tasks while ensuring safety protocols are followed and working collaboratively with the rest of the crew to achieve project goals.



Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Essential Duties

* Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, including and not limited to, brooms, rakes, shovels and sprayers.
* Assist in the preparation and clean-up of construction site.
* Clean and prepare tools, equipment and materials
* Perform a wide variety of manual tasks involving fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination.
* Perform all other general laborer work as needed
* Perform all tasks in a safe manner with complete respect for individual and crew safety.



Qualifications (Experience, Education & Certifications, Key Attributes):

Qualifications
* Experience in construction or a related field preferred.
* Knowledge of asphalt equipment and other equipment in construction environment.
* Knowledge of safety requirements in construction sites.
* Ability to work effectively with supervisors, co-workers and subcontractors.
* Ability to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
