Job Description

Acceptance Solutions Payer Interface team is looking for a talented software engineer to drive the quality and evolution of the Kernel in the Cloud platform. You will participate in the development, testing, and certification of multiple applications and utilize the latest generative AI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Someone with serious quality and development skills and a passion for ensuring secure, high quality, highly available services.
  • Actively contribute to product quality improvements, and new business flows in diverse agile squads.
  • Develop robust and scalable products intended for a myriad of customers including end-user, merchants, B2B, Integrators.
  • Develop automation suites utilizing generative AI for our various Kernel in the Cloud solutions
  • Perform end-to-end client centric testing
  • Ability to open bug tickets and work with the development team for resolution
  • Ability to validate our products in UAT and production environments
  • Implement solutions and demo applications using our products
  • Adhere to certification programs, ensuring performance, reliability, and quality.
  • Ability to collaborate with Product, Test, Dev-ops, and Agile/Scrum teams
  • Operate independently

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD

*Strong hands-on experience in Java, J2EE, RDBMS, Spring Boot.

*Strong experience with automating end to end testing solutions

*Familiar with GIT, Maven, and Jenkins

*Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration services.

*Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and documenting issues

*Thrives in a fast-paced environment producing and supporting business services with tier 1 severity and flexible to work with distributed global teams

*Constant drive to learn new technologies such as Android, iOS, React, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills, and proven ability to influence and communicate effectively

*A background in the payment's domain is a plus

*Knowledge in one or more additional development languages (Kotlin, Swift, Python)

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124,700.00 to 180,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
