As an Admission Advisor at Baker College, your primary role is to provide guidance and support to both prospective and current students throughout their journey in the admission and enrollment process. Utilizing various recruitment channels, you'll focus on delivering effective, student-centered outreach efforts to reach a diverse audience of potential students and their families. Under the supervision of the Director of Admissions- you'll work closely with students, assisting them in understanding the admission process and aiding them in achieving their personal and professional aspirations.

As a newly appointed Admissions Advisor, you will guide learners and their families through educational opportunities, admissions, transfer credits, financial aid, and institutional policies. You will stay engaged with prospective students, manage admission records, track data, and prepare reports. In addition, you will contribute to the development and implementation of admissions policies, stay current on higher education trends, and represent the institution at recruitment events. Your role will involve supporting recruitment efforts, achieving departmental goals, and participating in ongoing training and professional development. You will also implement recruitment strategies and ensure timely follow-up with students and their support networks throughout the admission and onboarding process. It's crucial to carry out these responsibilities with integrity, in alignment with Baker College's mission and values.

A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is a requirement for this role, while possessing a Master's degree is preferred. Candidates with 1-3 years of higher education admissions experience are required, though those with more than 3 years' experience are preferred. This experience equips individuals with the necessary background to effectively navigate the complexities of admissions processes and better support prospective students in their educational journey.
