DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Administration and Management Trainee, you will undergo a 12-month probationary period to learn the responsibilities of the role. After successfully completing this period, you will advance to the position of Fiscal Management Specialist 1. This role involves preparing reports and analyzing fiscal information related to general accounting and budget monitoring, as well as overseeing the preparation of financial statements and various reports to manage IGWF funds. You will maintain fiscal data from different funds to track, project, and control budget expenditures for personnel, operations, overtime, maintenance, and fixed assets. You will also learn to manage budget allotments and prepare monthly and annual budget projections by monitoring commitments and expenditures, which will be reviewed by higher-level fiscal personnel. Additionally, you will create specialized accounting and fiscal reports as needed, investigate discrepancies in data from facility shops, and handle invoice processing for payments from the SCI Greene advancement account, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines and policies. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree, including 15 credits in public administration, business administration, or a closely related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes 15 credits in public administration, business administration, or a closely related field.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.
Other Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
