About the role:
As a Project Controls Scheduler you will be Responsible for all project controls activities for moderate to high complexity project, a portfolio of low complexity projects, or for a subset of high complexity projects scope. You will report to the Component Delivery Manager and be located at Newington, NH.. You will work in a hybrid workplace persona requiring 2-3 days onsite.
Main Responsibilities:
Lead teams through all phases of a moderate complexity project.
Must have advanced skills in communication, cross-cultural awareness and leadership.
Primavera scheduling experience required.
Coordinate required tasks/deadlines. Escalate issues to appropriate levels of management
Initiate and plan all controls aspects of a project, which includes project scheduling, establishing baselines and risk registers
Apply tools and techniques to plan work such that inefficiencies are reduced and overall project performance is optimized. Apply schedule, cost, and risk analytics to confirm validity of plan
Lead schedule, cost, and risk activities. Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements to departments. Process subsequent changes following an integrated change control process
Promote teamwork which includes maintenance and distribution of project metrics to ensure team, customer, and all partners are kept informed of project status
Develop or oversee project databases and systems to ensure efficient handling and transmission of project correspondence and documentation between project team members
Identify opportunities for improvement, lessons learned, and risk avoidance for future work
Be the project controls contact for internal customers to support the project
Integrate project's goals and actions through participation with other project groups in matters of common concern
Identify, assess, and implement value-added improvement opportunities which will improve overall project performance
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Construction Management or related technical discipline
6+ years of experience in the position functional/technical area
