Job Summary

As the Director of Quality Management, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and driving quality initiatives that enhance program efficiency, compliance, and overall performance. You will work closely with the company's quality team to design, develop, and oversee quality monitoring activities for the care management porfolio, ensuring that operational goals align with corporate strategy.

In this role, you will lead cross-functional collaborations, streamline processes, and implement innovative solutions to improve program outcomes. Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement quality management (QM) initiatives by planning, coordinating, and integrating corporate quality assurance programs to ensure continuous quality and compliance. Provide strategic consultation on continuous improvement, leveraging expertise in performance improvement methodologies, data analysis, and industry best practices.

  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop tracking, reporting, and performance improvement systems to monitor program effectiveness and drive measurable results.

  • Collaborate across departments on key initiatives, including URAC accreditation, standard operating procedure (SOP) development, and product enhancement efforts, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and organizational objectives.

  • Ensure compliance by reading, understanding, and strictly adhering to all corporate policies, including HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules, to safeguard sensitive information and maintain regulatory integrity.

  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive status reports and updates for internal leadership and external client stakeholders, ensuring transparency, data-driven decision-making, and alignment with organizational goals.

  • Support strategic planning initiatives by aligning program activities with corporate objectives, fostering growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

  • Provide leadership, operational oversight, and guidance to team members, ensuring role clarity, accountability, and alignment with performance expectations, while fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.

  • The list of accountabilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties that management may deem necessary.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of management experience in a healthcare-related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with State and Federal Healthcare Programs, demonstrating a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, policies, and program administration.
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) tools, methodologies, and techniques.
  • Familiarity with industry accreditation standards such as URAC, NCQA or ISO.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and provide effective leadership, while maintaining confidentiality, meeting deadlines, and fostering collaboration in a team-oriented environment.
  • Highly developed analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to objectively evaluate data, conduct statistical analysis, and translate insights into actionable strategies that drive performance improvement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement and collaboration with clients, team members, and key stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
  • Thorough understanding and adherence to all corporate policies, including those related to HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules, ensuring compliance and data protection.
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a strategic approach to identifying program challenges and implementing data-driven solutions for operational excellence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to proprietary software applications and new technologies.
  • Possession of an active, unrestricted RN license in your state (preferred but not required).

Compensation

The compensation for this role is $100,000 to $130,000 annual base salary.

Based on our compensation program, an applicant's position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.
