GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Benefits and Wellness Coordinator is responsible for supporting the administration of employee benefits programs and wellness initiatives. This role involves coordinating and communicating benefits information, assisting employees with benefits-related inquiries, and promoting wellness programs within the credit union. The coordinator will work closely with the Benefits and Employee Services Human Resources team to ensure compliance with policies and provide excellent service to employees.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Two (2) Years of Administrative Experience

- Strong understanding of Human Resources administrative practices and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Work, Excel, Teams, Outlook)

WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT:
This job requires the employee to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Infrequent lifting up to 15 lbs.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must comply with all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and HIPAA. .
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES AND TASKS:
- Provide general administrative support to the Benefits and Employee Services team
- Support and coordinate employee events to include onsite biometric screenings, vaccination clinics, open enrollment and wellness activities.
- Assist with the development, maintenance and distribution of employee communications including announcements, events and monthly wellness newsletter.
- Assist in maintaining benefits summaries and plan documents in database
- Liaison with marketing and internal communications with HR communications and the HUB
- Support the Sr. Benefits Analyst with benefits reconciliation activities
- Support Sr. Benefits analyst with research when discrepancies between billing and invoices
- Prepare and submit carrier payment requests with finance
- Manage inventory of office supplies and company branded giveaways
- Provide back up to HR Receptionist
- Manage the front desk, being the first point of contact for the credit union, welcome guests, and greet visitors
- Maintain accurate office records, files and databases
- Mange incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries at Corporate
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Salary range is $20.89 - $27.42/hour. Job Grade, NE 10. Final salary is dependent on candidate's experience and qualifications.
