The VP, Product and Engineering Defines and implements the long-term technology roadmap supporting T-Mobile's frontline and digital systems. This role oversees development, ensuring project scheduling, quality control, and alignment with evolving technology standards. The VP maintains strong vendor relationships and drives innovation in IT solutions to support business objectives. By leading technology advancements, this executive ensures the company's infrastructure aligns with strategic goals and enhances operational efficiency.Formulates the vision of technology to support customers, both internally and externally. Supports the development of the demand curve for evolving technology and products related to Front-end Applications, Customer Care applications, Web, Devices, and Systems. Collaborates with functional areas such as Engineering, Systems & Strategy as well as other Functional Leaders to customize IT product and service offerings based on anticipated demand. Establishes IT roadmap in support of T-Mobile's business objectives. Leads the identification and development of new business opportunities both within COS's current customer base. Strengthens T-Mobile's value proposition by working towards the vision of delivering a World-Class IT Development organization. Establishes effective working relationships with new and existing vendors to research, develop, test and maintain IT Product and services. Develops IT Products to meet customer specific/customized requirements. Conducts vendor negotiations related to IT product development/design, reliability, costs, production timeframes, and licensing. Ensures appropriate post product launch review and assessment with assigned vendors. Directs, the process of generating new product ideas and directions. Works effectively with peers and executive staff as appropriate to produce cohesive plan of action. Guides IT product development processes through testing, implementation and evaluation. Manages the internal and external feedback process on new and existing IT products and services. Defines & executes processes and plans to ensure timely alpha, beta and launch stages of IT product development. Promotes on-going communication between key staff who are involved as task force members for a given development effort. Manages daily a Team of Directors who have direct oversight of the following functional areas: Front-End applications, Customer Care applications, Web Development and Support, Devices, Systems. Will frequently interact and collaborate with other senior officers of the Company and cross functional groups on matters related to the IT development and support for various Company functions, products, and services. Will be the primary contact and negotiator for external vendor selection to support the corporate vision and strategy of becoming a world-class IT organization. Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed. Qualifications

The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as qualifications and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
