The team

The Corporate FP&A team is a dynamic and strategic team in Finance that partners with all Hitachi Vantara Functions on budgeting, consolidating, forecasting, reporting, and analytics. This international team provides strategic support to Senior and Central Management on enterprise-wide planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting.

The role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director to lead the Corporate FP&A team. This is a high-impact and visible role that directly affects executive-level decision-making, execution of company strategy and contribution to the company's financial objectives achievement. Main responsibilities for this role include, among other things: lead, manage and mentor the corporate FP&A team, partner with the Executive Committee to execute the financial strategy of the company, liaise with Hitachi Limited sector and BU finance to ensure their understanding of the Hitachi Vantara financials, evaluate and decide on appropriate financial strategies, collaborate with functions to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial targets, partner with other finance functions to ensure alignment and consistency in financial reporting and analysis, designing and training on processes, tools, and best practices for the FP&A community and in a broader way determine the financial strategy

What you'll bring

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Deep knowledge of various financial strategies and the FP&A policies and processes needed to deliver on the strategy

Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.

Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting tools.

Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

This position requires working in the office in Santa Clara at least 3 days a week or when requested.
