Salary Statement
Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $111,100.00/Yr. - USD $185,100.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
Description
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of networks including monitoring and responding to hardware, software, and network problems
- Designing and implementing computer and information networks such as LANs, WANs, intranets, extranets, and other data communication networks
- Performing network modeling, analysis, and planning including analyses of capacity needs for on premise and cloud network infrastructures
- Designing network and computer security measures
- Researching and recommending network and data communications hardware and software
FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD #LI-LL1
Requirements
- Seven + (7+) years' experience in a Computer Network Architect role including:
- Three + (3+) years' experience with communication systems, networks, and technologies.
- Five + (5+) years' experience with practical experience in secure network and system design, analysis, and procedure/test generation
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution
-or- - Possess one of the following professional certifications: FITSP-O, GFACT, CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, CCNA, GCIA, GCLD, GDSA, GFACT, CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, GCED or GCIH
-or- - Completion of the following DOD/Military training courses: M0923W1, A-102-5888, A-102-5599 (SNOOP), A-531-0045, A-113-0381, A-113-0381, A-113-0342, A-121-0594 (P/L), A-104-0084, A-150-4219 (P/L), A-150-9020 (P/L)
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing implements computer and information networks such as LANs, WANs, intranets, extranets, and other data communication networks
- Experience performing network modeling, analysis, and planning including analyses of capacity needs for on premise and cloud network infrastructures
- In-depth understanding of operation and maintenance of networks including monitoring and responding to hardware, software, and network problems
- Experience designing network and computer security measures
- Possess a current DoD TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly
- Excellent verbal and written communication
Desired Skills
- Ten + (10+) years' experience in a Computer Network Architect role for DoD projects or programs
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution
- Expert-level knowledge in technical cyber security
- Experience researching and recommending network and data communications hardware and software for DoD projects or programs
- Direct experience with NAWCAD WOLF
Clearance Information
SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL with CI POLY ELIGIBILITY
