Job Description

Title: Senior Project Manager Level 6

Department: New York Operations

Reports To: Project Executive

Knowledge



  • Understand all required third party inspections
  • Understands all phases of construction
  • Understanding of the materials required to complete the job
  • Understand the financial status of Specialty contractors and their ability to deliver on the scale of project
  • Understand and follow the delay notification procedures of the CMA and mitigate risk to HRCG
  • Understand our contract with the owner and ensure the project is following all key contractual terms and requirements


Skills



  • Foster high levels of communication amongst the HRCG team as well as the specialty contractors on the project
  • Responsible for all third - party inspections by any authorities having jurisdiction required for the project, to achieve TCO and final CO
  • Must actively work to develop direct reports under or around them so they can grow in the company
  • Must actively put in effort to the better the organization including job/ client leads, employee referrals and any other initiatives or ideas to better the organization
  • Lead IIF and use the principles of IIF to ensure a positive IIF culture is incorporated throughout the project
  • Must complete no less than one safety inspection per week
  • Must hold the entire staff accountable for meeting their respective DBO2 requirements
  • Communicate with the owner and develop the relationship between HRCG and the client to ensure repeat business effectively and respectively.
  • Active participant in contract negotiations and issue resolutions
  • Complete responsibility for Quality Assurance and Quality control plan and successful implementation throughout the project
  • Create, manage, and maintain the required-on job date and status of material fabrication
  • Must be able to identify material delivery risks and proactively resolve to avoid delays to the project
  • Develop and maintain an overall project schedule including rate of change, WIP and quantity of workforce to align with the plan and delivery dates
  • Ensure all staff are using the project schedule as a tool
  • Manage the buyout process of the project
  • Effectively work and problem solve with EOR and Architects
  • Provide detailed constructability reviews, make recommendations while putting vehicles in place to protect HRCG
  • Ensure submittals are received timely, accurate and coordinate with other trades prior to submission to the design team
  • Generate RFI's including recommended solutions and bring RFI's to resolution
  • Responsible for strict compliance with notifications and change order requirements
  • Responsible for the contract digest and it's completion before the start of the project
  • Responsible for the development, timely submission, accuracy, and factuality of monthly reports
  • Develop and maintain the monthly requisition process to ensure timely billings, collections, and payments to specialty contractors
  • Ensure all nonconformance reports are dealt with and closed out in a timely manner
  • Responsible to manage an effective process for all financial aspects of the project, including work-in place, general conditions, change order management, MPPRs, cost at-risk mitigation, requisition process, etc.
  • Responsible for the change order process including use of PCI system, accuracy, and timely submission
  • Responsible for GC monitor, accurately forecasting costs, maintaining monitor through all phases and ensure the project is managed with in the GC budget established
  • Partner with project management and superintendent staff to manage T&M process and exposures
  • Develop and maintain a closeout monitor for the project and ensure the project is closed out in a timely manner

  • Ability to conduct meetings with all levels of stakeholders internally and externally on the project
  • Ability to start any type of project and bring the project to completion
  • Ability to understand and deliver on the client's goals and objectives
  • Ability to lead MEP's coordination process



Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree required, civil or mechanical engineering preferred

Experience managing no less than 4 direct reports

Previous experience managing a project from beginning to close out

10+ years of construction specific experience

SST card required

The above salary range represents Hunter Roberts's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is one part of the total rewards Hunter Roberts provides to employees.
