Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA, is currently hiring aFull Time Team Lead for the Environmental Services Department to work a night (3rd) shift.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for maintaining assigned areas and equipment in clean and orderly condition to provide an appropriate environment.

  • Provides direct service, and provides functional supervision to staff.

  • Serves as a resource for Team Members and trains staff.

  • Provides staff with work assignments and ensures work is completed.

  • Monitors work quality and timeliness.

  • Assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement and customer service activities.

Hours:

  • Monday - Friday: 11:30pm - 7:00am

  • Rotating Weekends

Job Requirements:

  • Required Education: High School Grad or Equivalent. 1 year of Housekeeping/ESD experience required in lieu of High School Education.

  • Required Experience: 2 years of Housekeeping/ESD experience

Job Summary

CHEST certification required for all existing staff by 7/31/2019. New employees hired after 8/1/2016 required to have CHEST within 2 years of hire.

1 year of Housekeeping/ESD experience required in lieu of High School Education.

Qualifications:

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent Certified Healthcare Security Officer (CHSO) - Certification - International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) Service Associate
