Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Superintendent-Land to join our team. In this position you will play a key role in managing the land development operations for several RAH communities. Additionally, you will ensure the division achieves development goals and delivers finished lots in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

Other tasks you will work on include but are not limited to:

    Reviewing design documents, improvement plans, and related technical documents for accuracy and to identify constructability issues and value engineering opportunities
  • Frequent travel to assigned job sites to coordinate and oversee all aspects of horizontal development
  • Assess and resolve field issues in real time without direction
  • Scheduling subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project schedules and timely achievement of milestones and completion dates
  • Overseeing final tract and improvement acceptance by municipal staff, homeowner's associations and/or governing agencies, including the preparation of punch lists, conducting site walks and completion of punch lists items in a timely manner
  • Managing development budgets and implementing cost controls
  • Communicating extensively with Land Development, Construction and Project Management field and office staff
  • Serving as primary liaison with subcontractors, consultants, utility providers, municipal staff, regulatory agencies and others

Requirements

Experience in Residential Construction development is required and experience working with regulatory agencies and public utilities is a plus. A college degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Planning and a demonstrated track record of successfully managing budgets and vendor relationships is preferred.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $90,000 - $125,000
  • FLSA Status: Exempt
  • Bonus Type: Year-end Discretionary
