A Day In The Life The Fleet & Pre-Owned Manager (FPM) under the leadership of the Sr. Manager Fleet Strategy and Planning will assist in GST's regional TCUV and Fleet growth initiatives through cooperation with GST dealers, Toyota Motor North America (TMNA), TCUV, Fleet, Toyota Financial Services (TFS) and GST Field Team. In general, be a credible and valued resource for GST Dealers and GMs while supporting the growth and development of GST Dealer's Pre-Owned and Fleet Operations along with GST's TCUV, & Fleet related business opportunities. Specifically, the FPM position is responsible for growing TCUV sales along with increasing dealer penetration while ensuring program compliance by utilizing a consultative approach with GST Dealerships. In addition, the FPM will support the development of TCUV and Fleet initiatives; including conduct monthly business performance reviews, deliver Pre-Owned vehicle process improvements (including lead handling, appointment culture, vehicle acquisition, and reconditioning) for the Certified Pre-Owned lifecycle. This role requires significant travel. As a Fleet & Pre-Owned Manager you will:
- Increase GST's TCUV sales by growing dealer adoption, coordinated training efforts, and enhancing dealer sales and lead handling processes, as well as assessing and advising on TCUV tier III marketing efforts
- Improve GST's TCUV dealer participation by successfully leading TCUV dealership engagement meetings to be held with dealership executive team members and supported by GST Field Ops team members (DSM, AGM)
- In collaboration with GST team members, lead the field implementation and administrative support of TCUV and Fleet initiatives
- Growth and Sustainment of TMNA Toyota Fleet Advantage (TFA) program
- Establish strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders within Toyota, TCUV, Fleet, TFS, and strategic partners
- Establish / carry out account management responsibilities for key TCUV and Fleet initiatives and programs. Requires remote and onsite contact support processes to include formal dealer/program performance contacts, deliver developmental coaching & training, and define GST's TCUV and Fleet policies / procedures as it relates to dealership/program operations
- Define GST's TCUV and Fleet policies, operations, and key performance indicators utilizing industry standards, lessons learned and best practices and incorporate as part of monthly account contacts. Share internally with key stakeholders
- Support as needed all GST TCUV, and Fleet initiatives and programs as defined by GST Fleet Strategy and Planning
- Engage with the GST Field organization when necessary to support key TCUV, and Fleet initiatives/programs deemed critical at the dealer level
- Manage the coordination and communication of GST's Fleet development initiatives within GST functional departments, dealers, TMNA and other strategic partners as required
- Works closely with all internal GST support departments on various projects, initiatives, and collaboration efforts to ensure dealers, partners and customers needs are met in a timely manner
- Takes action to enhance cross-functional coordination and expand internal communications and development awareness within GST
- Achieve Strategy and Planning operational business objectives and financial results as it relates to TCUV development
- Manage and lead at all times to support GST overall key business objectives
What We Need From You
- Bachelor's Degree Pref
- 7-9 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Recent experience as an OEM District Sales Manager and/or recent outside sales or vehicle retail sales
- Demonstrate understanding of Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) programs and how they impact and interact with Dealership Operations
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of current vehicle acquisition and appraisal tools
- Demonstrate sales planning and coordinating skills
- Customer and dealer focused; willing and able to assist dealers to exceed customers' Promotes and supports change
- Communicates effectively - orally and in writing
- Has strong "selling" and "relationship building" skills and understands used vehicle sales cycle

Physical and Environmental RequirementsThe job requires significant domestic travel. As a result, the duties for this position occur in various places including, but not limited to an office environment, car dealerships, and semi-industrial settings. The associate will regularly be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, areas in which moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals are present, and outside weather conditions. The noise level for this position will vary and the associate may be exposed to loud noise levels.
