Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer The position is located at 9700 West 74th Street, Eden Prairie, MN 55328 Employer: Phillips and Temro Industries Job Duties: SUMMARY: Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, the Supplier Quality Engineer serves as a technical liaison between the supplier base and the internal cross-function team to ensure PTI's quality, delivery, and cost requirements are met. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Requirements: At least a Bachelor's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering, plus at least 3 years of experience as a quality engineer, or supplier quality engineer in a manufacturing environment *Specific skills and other requirements: In addition must possess 3 years of experience in the following:
Requires up to 15-20% travel including international travel Salary: $105,726 / year Compensation Disclosure: At Phillips and Temro Industries, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. Education
Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering (required)
Experience
3 years: Experience as a quality engineer, or supplier quality engineer, in a manufacturing environment. (required)
3 years: Quality auditing experience (required) 3 years: IATF experience (required) 3 years: Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) experience (required) 3 years: Working with automotive or heavy truck OEMs and/or Tier 1 supply base in an IATF environment. (required) 3 years: Experience certifying suppliers through the PPAP process.
