Library Specialist

SUMMARY:

The Library Specialist shall have a minimum of one (1) year experience relative to the creation, inventory, tracking and destruction of classified material (documents and media) in a secure environment or equivalent training in logistics, inventory tracking and maintaining documentation and/or data management systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

* Demonstrate the ability to download and transmit classified messages, conduct classified semi-annual inventories of media and documentation.
* Conduct Audit Log reviews and generate reports with analysis and results.
* Display the ability to work independently under limited supervision.
* Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment supporting multiple projects.
* Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, project leads and senior level leadership in written and oral form.
* Demonstrate self-motivation with a desire to learn new processes and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

* A minimum of one (1) year experience or equivalent training in logistics, inventory control and tracking.
* Must have a DOD Secret security clearance and have or be able to obtain an SSBI.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States and for TTO are required. May require occasional travel.
