Mental Health Residential Worker

Earn $16.91/hour or $18.91/hour with the selection of Enhanced Pay

Schedule: 40 hours/week; 2nd shift, 3 pm-11 pm with rotating weekends

Position Details

The Mental Health Worker works with and adheres to the safety and welfare of all consumers with mental and behavioral health diagnoses in their residential programs while carrying out direct care responsibilities and participates in and follows the treatment planning process. They willin developing and implementing activities and other special projects designed to increase skills in independent and community living, socialization/leisure time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build on strengths to promote positive growth for the consumer.
• Engages consumers in appropriate life skills to develop abilities to live as independently as possible.
• Accompany consumers on trips outside the facilities for treatment medical or any other appropriate reasons.
• Provide one to one interaction with consumers when appropriate.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED
• Valid driver's license
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in Human Services preferred
