Overview:

The Business Service Leader (BSL) will serve as the primary revenue cycle performance contact for Clinic and/or Facility Operations Leadership as well as physician and/or facility department managers. BSLs have accountability for providing communication with physician office managers, facility department managers, and Virtual Business Office (VBO) operations, as appropriate; to assure effective revenue cycle results for the community they serve.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years related hospital or practice management experience
• Other:
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to build positive relationships with practices and departments, revenue leaders , and within Mercy Revenue Management
  • Ability to work independently to accomplish job responsibilities
  • High personal integrity and work ethic
  • Ability to travel within their community regularly
  • Ability to travel periodically across the Health System
  • Knowledge of Epic applications

Preferred Education: Bachelor degree preferred
