Located near beautiful Charleston, SC, Parker's Gas Turbine Power Generation business manufacturers fuel nozzles for power generation and military aerospace applications. POSITION SUMMARY:

This summer internship provides the opportunity to work closely with our supply chain team to assist in various projects relating to lead time validation and cycle count accuracy. This is a great opportunity for hands-on experience in the supply chain field.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in 1-2 major projects that will progress forward during time in role.
  • Will also be assigned additional smaller projects or routine responsibilities to develop professional work knowledge and abilities.
  • Perform assignments designed to develop cross-functional team experience.
  • Work cross functionally to validate internal manufacturing lead times and ensure MRP system accuracy.
  • Identify, implement, and track a project to improve inventory tracking accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be pursuing bachelor's in business administration, supply chain, or another related field. Candidate shall have completed sophomore year with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Strong analytical skills, demonstration of leadership capabilities and professional maturity. Demonstrated confidence, excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team member.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications.
