JOB SUMMARY
In support of our vision and mission, the Director of Business Development position assists with the design and implementation of new customer relations strategies. This position will prepare and present customer information and market analysis to senior level management and/or clients and make recommendations based on relevant data. They will carry out market growth efforts through share shifting and identification of new market space.

As a director, they may be tasked with wider companywide goals and campaigns including but not limited to government relations, new market opportunities (business line or regional), project management and white paper analysis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

  • Collects, evaluates and analyzes data from market research including but not limited to customers, prospective customers, competitive market share and utilization.

  • Analyzes the competitive environment to provide trend and service delivery forecasts.

  • Utilizes Salesforce for maintenance and cross-company collaboration.

  • Identifies and generates new business; development and implementation of action plans with objectives and strategies to increase revenue and aggressively acquire new business relationships; develops and delivers relationship-based proposals/products.

  • Assists with government relations campaigns, issues, and matters to influence matters of policy at the local, State, and Federal levels.

  • Assists with development and deployment of customer outreach programs including but not limited to service delivery leads, research, qualifying leads, developing leads and customer service.

  • Assists with communication and documentation including but not limited to spreadsheets, correspondence, proposals, presentations, and internal documents for new customer proposals, presentations and products.

  • Works with the Service Delivery Team to collaboratively develop, implement and maintain procedures that enhance the efficiency of the regional business development and service delivery to the customer.

  • Attends conventions, conferences and trade shows as needed; prepares post-event reports and analysis determining ROI and areas of improvement.

  • Assist the Regional Operations Directors and Program Directors with customers and is available as a resource for the company related to the assigned market, customers, referral patterns and anticipated movements within healthcare.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 60%.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and experience preferred.

  • Ability to travel to a set geographical area.

  • Five + years of management or supervisory experience.

  • Sales and/or business development experience.

  • Working knowledge of the Medical Transport, Hospital System or Pre-hospital environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Team skills.

  • Strong computer skills (spreadsheets, word processing, database).
