Description

SUMMARY: The Finance Intern is responsible for supporting a variety of general accounting functions and tasks as directed by the Accounting Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with accounts payable processing
Assist with collection of accounts receivable
Reconcile cash receipts for various business operations
Prepare simple financial analyses
File client information
Special projects and assignments as business dictates

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Satisfactory completion of at least one college-level accounting course
Experience in computer data entry
Organized and detail oriented
Strong interpersonal / communication skills
Effective listening and communication skills
