POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Red Peak Technical Services, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an opening for a Senior Warehouse Manager in the Lorton, VA area. The Sr. Warehouse Manager will supportthe contract through daily oversight and management of warehouse staff and operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with government and company policies.



  • Serve as the overall point of managerial contact between the Government Contract Officer's Representative (COR) and Contractor / sub-Contractor staff throughout the life of the contract. Work closely with DoS Warehouse Site Managers and Team Leaders daily to prioritize work requirements and maximize utilization of available Contractor work force.
  • Provide overall managerial support to Contractor / sub-contractor staff and supervise all contract employees in designated area(s) of responsibility.
  • Ensure overall timeliness and quality of the products and services required under this contract.
  • Responsible for all SA-10 warehouse functions.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures for all job functions and/or the entire warehouse lifecycle
  • Ensure that Contractor / sub-contractor efforts are focused on meeting site and broader SL/W requirements.
  • Keep the COR abreast of all problems and accomplishments.
  • Ensure that Contractor / sub-contractor staff is available in the necessary quantity and with the appropriate skills to meet contractual requirements.
  • Ensure that contract requirements are met on time.
  • Foster a good work environment and promote quality service.
  • Provide and coordinate quality control reports, problem notification reports, and contractor discrepancy reports as required.
  • Knowledgeable in all SL/W areas of Contractor / sub-contractor efforts and shall be considered by SL as the source of information about not only how processing and other efforts are accomplished, but also why they are done a certain way.
  • Support cross-training of Contractor personnel to ensure task coverage and ability to quickly move personnel to meet work surges or during periods of staffing shortages.
  • Closely monitor attendance, productivity and professional behavior of assigned Contractor work force, and initiate required corrective action if needed.
  • Compile information for monthly reports
  • Oversee staff in SA-10
  • Other duties as assigned


Payrate:$136,658.00 Annually

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Required Qualifications:



  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution plus five (5) years' related experience, or Ten (10) years' related experience
  • At least five (5) years of related work experience including two (2) years of hands-on experience managing large groups of staff in a warehouse or logistics related environment.
  • If no bachelor's degree, at least ten (10) years of related work experience, including five (5) years of hands-on experience managing large groups of staff in a warehouse or logistics related environment.
  • Valid State Driver's License.
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance.
  • Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Experience in shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment
  • Ability to quickly address operational issues and bottlenecks
  • Strong analytical thinking for optimizing warehouse processes
  • Adaptability in high-pressure situations
  • Understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace safety procedures
  • Experience in risk assessment and accident prevention
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials handling (if applicable)
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, etc...)
  • Experience with automated systems and RFID technology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, inventory software, and reporting tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication for interacting with staff, vendors, and management
  • Ability to coordinate with logistics teams and suppliers
  • Report writing and documentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience in scheduling labor and optimizing workflow
  • Detail-oriented approach to record-keeping and compliance
  • Knowledge in government supply-chain management and logistics functions
  • General understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
