Responsibilities
Newport News Behavioral Health Center is a 108 bed intensive and highly structured residential treatment for psychiatric and behavioral health needs of adolescent males and females ages 11-18yrs. Newport News has an on-site certified school, therapists, and vocational programming. Newport News, VA is a beautiful seaside city, rich in maritime history and conveniently located to DC and other major North Eastern cities. Job Summary This position is responsible for maintaining all patient care areas and all office areas in clean and sanitary manner. He/She ensures a thorough cleaning and disinfecting of his/her assigned area daily. He/She will also handle special or quarterly cleaning tasks as assigned. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. Job Requirements: Good verbal and written skills, ability to rotate shifts and units as necessary, and ability to maintain patient confidentiality. Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred). Must have at least one year of related experience.
