Geosyntec has an exciting opportunity for a Professional Water Resources Specialist in our Salt Lake City, Utah office. This role provides the opportunity for technical delivery and project management while assisting in the growth of our expanding water resource engineering and management team. A technical expertise with Utah's water laws, water rights, and water banking, is advantageous in this role. In addition to contributing to technical project delivery and project management, you will also have the opportunity to work along side our senior scientists, engineers, and hydrogeologists to assist in identifying and spearheading business development opportunities in Utah's water resources, as well as current and future projects across the Western United States. Utah is grappling with limited water resources to manage escalating demand; the state's water users are perpetually confronted with challenging and fluctuating conditions. Geosyntec is eager to invest in Utah's future water management by developing a local skilled practice group to provide support for water banking, water rights, managed aquifer recharge, among other areas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities You will be engaged in a wide range of technical duties and business development within our growing water resources practice, with a focus on projects in Utah. Building on your past work experience with mentorship from our senior staff, your typical responsibilities will include:
Developing water resource engineering and management studies, including water banking, water rights, and managed aquifer recharge studies;
