Are you energized by collaboration and the delivery of world-class brand experiences? We are seeking a driven, highly collaborative, and proactive Event Coordinator for our experiential practice at MC2. This role will assist with producing experiential projects from concept to planning and execution. This is a US based role with the ability to work remotely. Roles and Responsibilities Conduct research in support of experiential planning (venue scouting, event recommendations, prospective vendor partnerships, etc.)
- Work closely with the Account team on client presentations (project plans, creative reviews, recaps, etc.)
- Seek to understand event production and logistics dependencies in order to create detailed project timelines
- Communicate project status, upcoming deadlines, project risks and assumptions to internal and external stakeholders
- Support the Production team in development of project estimates, shipping and inventory, vendor research, negotiation, and management
- Review project goals, priorities, and team roles and responsibilities to ensure clear accountabilities and project milestones
- Participate in client and internal work sessions and status calls. Take notes during calls and share action items with the team.
- Work closely with Creative team to brainstorm creative concepts and attendee experiences while outlining production considerations (time, budget, feasibility)
- Proactively identify and flexibly respond to trends impacting clients and our business. Review best practices and integrate into daily work.
- Take ownership of project responsibilities and self-monitor progress, communicating to team and manager updates, challenges, concerns, etc.
- Learn end-to-end financial process (sourcing, budgeting, vendor onboarding and payments, project reconciliations, invoice tracking, etc.)
- Deliver quality results in a timely manner
- Understand what factors drive the client's business as well as MC2 business
- Push for continuous, year-over-year improvement in results (e.g., continually raises the bar)
Qualifications
- Ability to be flexible and highly adaptive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task and process information efficiently
- Assertive and proactive self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, creativity, and problem skills are a must
- Ability to communicate clearly and prioritize responsibilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel for site checks, events and client meetings (up to 40%)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule - evenings, weekends, and holidays as projects require
- Degree in Marketing or experience in marketing/events a plus
