As a Service Sales Representative for our Power Generation division, you'll be at the forefront of driving revenue in a high-potential sales territory. You'll build new relationships, optimize existing partnerships, and deliver customized power solutions that power critical industries. In this entrepreneurial role, your adaptability, future-thinking mindset, and analytical prowess will be key to your success.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop New Business: Identify, pursue, and win new sales opportunities through networking, market research, cold calls, and inbound inquiries.
  • Drive Strategic Sales Growth: Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and competitor trends to continuously refine your approach, optimize your sales strategy, and maximize revenue.
  • Be a Trusted Consultant: Understand clients' power generation needs and recommend tailored technical solutions that solve problems and add value.
  • Expand Customer Relationships: Nurture existing partnerships while re-engaging past customers and identifying future opportunities.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with our expert Parts, Service, and Technical Support teams to ensure seamless delivery and superior client experiences.
  • Monitor Market Dynamics: Stay ahead of shifting trends and changing customer needs to keep your territory competitive and agile.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, particularly in power generation, marine, or industrial sectors.
  • Proven ability to develop leads, close deals, and exceed sales targets - you thrive on seeing the impact of your work.
  • Technical expertise in power generation equipment, parts, and aftermarket services.
  • Analytical mindset: You enjoy analyzing performance metrics, drawing conclusions from data, and developing systems to streamline tasks.
  • High energy and stamina: You respond positively to pressure, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are adept at managing shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and simultaneous projects.
  • A strategic thinker who can navigate ambiguity: You stay focused on long-term goals, even when immediate plans or processes shift.
  • Independent and proactive: You take initiative, thrive on autonomy, and look for ways to improve processes without waiting for instructions.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills: Your approach is factual, direct, and detail-oriented, while remaining flexible enough to engage socially when needed.
  • CRM, ERP, and tech-savvy: You're comfortable with tools like Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and related software.
