As a General Laborer, where you'll play a crucial role in the safe and efficient handling and packaging of a variety of baked goods, including muffins, scones, cakes, breads, and cookies. You'll operate and monitor high-speed production lines, ensuring product quality and adhering to safety and hygiene standards. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining a clean work environment, following GMP guidelines, and effectively communicating with team members

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor high speed continuous production line including placing dough in pans/sheets and placing on moving conveyors.
• Visually inspect product for quality deviations.
• Responds positively with sense of urgency while meeting quality standards.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Performs all product-handling activities (i.e., counting, packing, sealing, labelling, palletizing).
• Know and follow GMP guidelines.
• Maintain required hygiene and follows safety practices as established.
• Effectively communicate with Leads, co-workers, and department staff from all areas of operation.
• Performs other related duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma / GED desired or equivalent years of experience in an automated or semi-automated packing environment preferred.
• Previous experience in a baking environment preferred.
• Ability to comprehend basic verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to count to 60.

Shift: 1st

Hourly Range: $20.00 - $21.00
