Description

The successful candidate will use their skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to enable the creation of world class manufacturing solutions. These solutions will enable our customers in the manufacturing industry to machine precision parts at scale. This position is located within the Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence (HMI) Division and the Production Software Business Unit (PSBU)

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design AI/ML-based solutions.
• Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms.
• Assist in the integration of AI/ML models into existing software applications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development processes.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and apply them to ongoing projects.
• Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  
  

Required Skills/Abilities

• Experience with model training, evaluation, and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservice architecture.
• Experience in deploying machine learning models in production environments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, etc.) for deploying AI/ML solutions.
• Understanding of software development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with Agile and SAFe software development environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
• Strong understanding of fundamental AI/ML concepts and algorithms.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, C++, or Java.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen interest in learning new technologies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
