OverviewThe Windows Servicing and Delivery (WSD) team at Microsoft delivers critical updates which keep over one billion Microsoft customers secure and productive. The Release Analysis and Monitoring (RAM) team within WSD ensures that these updates function effectively for Windows customers. The RAM team is hiring a Software Engineer II - Full Stack to join theirdiverseteamthatuseslarge-scaledistributedsystems to release hundreds of updates to customerseach month.As a Software Engineer II - Full Stack, you will play a key role in developing machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to process hundreds of thousands of posts from a variety of sources including forums, blogs, support tickets, User Initiated Feedback items, mailing lists, and beyond. You will get the opportunity to work on a multidisciplinary team that builds complex data processing, data analysis systems focused on natural language processing (NLP), text classifiers, clustering, emerging topics, trending, and anomaly detection. ResponsibilitiesImplement algorithms to establish Relevance, Clustering, Classification, and derived signals out of text data.Create systems to correlate text data against rich, structured data sources to derive useful insights.Conduct experiments against a curated ground-truth set to evaluate the best algorithms and tune parameters.Enhance the experimentation capabilities with additional modes of execution, evaluation metrics and visualizations.Design all components, code, tests, and monitoring for your features.Work closely with Program Managers, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, Feedback Analysts, and partner teams.Develop and establish a customer feedback loop.
